The Old Cherry Tree are delighted to announce the appointment of new Head Chef Charlie Garrett. Charlie was formerly with the excellent team at the Plough, Shutlanger so he is looking to bring all that experience, knowledge, and plenty of new ideas when he takes up his new role with us. Assisting Charlie as the new Sous Chef will be Ben Cook-Harrison, clearly, he was destined to be a chef!
Since Andy Pye and Alan Edge took ownership of The Old Cherry Tree back in September 2020, it has of course been one step forward and two steps back – Who’s stupid idea was it to take on a Pub in a Worldwide pandemic anyway? That said, we can all now see the light at the end of this long and dark tunnel, so this timely and exciting appointment of Charlie and Ben will see The Old Cherry Tree taking their food and drink offering to the next level and beyond…….watch this space!
